Today Women Of the Wall expressed disdain for sacred Jewish objects, the police, and Israeli civil law in one fell swoop.
“I have no idea if Women of the Wall faked the graffiti. It certainly comes at a convenient time for them and redirects away the many questions that have been raised about the group. The Anti-Israel left has a history of faking hate crimes against itself and anyone can scrawl some graffiti on a wall.”
“Just because Peggy was the victim of a graffiti attack does not give Shira Pruce, Women of the Wall spokeswoman, the right to make false accusations against her political opponents.”
In an interview with Rachel Avraham, Peskin denied the absurd accusation that W4W and journalists who spoke out against Women of the Wall are connected to the graffiti targeting Women of the Wall board member Peggy Cidor.
“We find it outrageous that Women of the Wall has claimed that the recent publication in the media of its leadership’s connections with radical anti-Israel groups is the cause of this terrible graffiti at the Cidor residence.”
